Rainier School, Residential Habilitation Center (RHC), is seeking a Psychologist to join a highly respected team committed to helping clients with developmental disabilities have the supports they need to live healthy, safe, and inclusive lives.
In this job, you will be our subject matter expert in psychological services providing clinical consultation and monitoring performance standards to ensure quality care. You'll also enjoy the leadership aspect of your job providing clinical oversight to our Psychology Associate staff that support psychological, behavioral and mental health services to intellectually disabled residents with significant challenges and specialized service needs.
Some of what you'll do
Serve as the psychological consultant to the Interdisciplinary team.
Develop positive behavioral support plans
Conduct psychological evaluations and comprehensive functional assessments
Maintain oversight of all positive behavioral support plans and recommend changes as necessary
Provide diagnostic assessments to clarify treatment needs
Provide consultation and training to professional and direct care staff
Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Participate in clinical staff meetings
We're looking for professionals who has:
Ability to provide clinical leadership and direction to clinical staff and interdisciplinary team
Experience providing treatment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders
Ability to plan and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies
Knowledge of diagnostic concepts for developmental disabilities and current treatment and intervention modalities
Techniques for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of individual treatment plans
Ability to work in a stressful environment
Who should apply?
Licensed Psychologist, Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an American Psychological Association accredited university psychology department or professional school of psychology.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
